Mission Statement, we believe that the two biggest obstacles against the legalization of Marijuana are lack of information, and lack of support from the pot smoking community. Our goal is to overcome these obstacles, with the creation of a community activism site, IRstoner.com. IRstoner.com, is a site intended to both Inform and Reform. The site is designed to facilitate world wide cooperation and communication targeted at reforming drug laws worldwide. It will provide tools for both education, and political activism, as well as tools to help groups work together. We have identified 3 steps which we believe will help us to accomplish our goals: Step 1: Uniting the stoners. In this first stage we have one simple goal, to build a very large community of stoners. The primary methods for meeting this goal include: -the rewards system -our ads -partnering with existing websites -The completion of our website During this stage we plan to hire two staff members, a News Editor, and a Forum’s Administrator. >Reaching 100,000 Members will serve as a mile stone for this step. Step 2: Focusing the community. The point of this stage will be to harness the power of our group and help coordinate joint efforts with existing drug law reform groups, such as , , , and other organizations. This will greatly benefit these organizations as they are often in need of both help and funds. >This stage will be ongoing as long as we deem necessary. Step 3: Dessiminating the Truth. After having matured IRstoner.com will finally be in the position to inform the masses. It is at this stage that we plan to launch a massive media campaign aimed at every day citizens. Though we will continue to rely heavily on the internet for cheap and effective advertising, we will explore advertising in both Television and Print Media at this time. >This stage will remain in effect until world wide drug law reform is accomplished. Expenditures: The website currently cost about $100 a year to host, however as the site grows in size and complexity and the number of members increase the necessary hosting will likely cost over a thousand a year. We may also have to purchase our own equipment. Eventually a full time staff will likely be needed. We would also like to be able to afford advertisement, however purchasing advertising is low on our priorities. Other expenses will include the free stickers, and other items that we will offer as rewards to our members. We hope to be able to off set these costs by selling merchandise, accepting donations, and selling ad space on IRstoner.com
